Our Story

Rev. R. L. Wyser, Th.D, ministered from the age of 19 until his passing at the age of 72. His life purpose and our life purpose was to edify the church and the community. We ministered in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, Cayman, Botswana, Tanzania and South Africa. We were pastors of a bilingual church in Bronx, NY. and also were pastors in the suburbs of Chicago where we built a new building in DuPage County. The last tenure of pastor was in New Orleans, where Pastor Wyser passed suddenly.

Dr. Wyser’s interests were varied in music, literature, sports, American History and English history and human behavior. He was a walking encyclopedia about so many interests. His greatest love was compiling and preaching messages that strengthened and convicted and bettered his congregation. He published approximately 500 messages/sermons and many other books about Family, Marriage, Prayer, Illustrations of History and several volumes of sermon outlines.  He compiled Life Catalyst Seminary which he taught on many Saturdays at New Orleans First Church. The last week of his life Dr. Wyser completed a fictional novel about Abraham Lincoln. This book, "The Twilight", will be available soon

From the response to his sermons which he published as booklets on Depression, Fear, Honor and others, he began to see the need for more curriculums on human behavior. With many hours of research and writing combined with his pastoral experience, he compiled Life Catalyst Curriculum. After completion of the curriculum he saw the need for training for life coaching. Thus, Dr. Wyser researched and published certification for life coaching and that was followed by the Masters Level of Life Coaching.

Having worked closely with Dr. Wyser on every level of Life Catalyst Institute, I, Wanda Wyser, have continued to offer this unique and valuable certification and curriculum.
